The Best Driving Routes from Barcelona in a Ferrari

1. The Coastal Road to Sitges (C-31) — 40 km
Drive south along the C-31, hugging the Mediterranean coastline through Castelldefels and Garraf. The road narrows and twists through dramatic limestone cliffs before opening up into Sitges — one of Catalonia's most beautiful seaside towns. Round trip from Barcelona: approximately 80 km. 2. Montserrat Mountain Pass — 60 km
Head inland on the C-55 towards Montserrat. The climbing section to the monastery involves sweeping hairpins and gradient changes that let the Ferrari's chassis work properly. 3. Penedès Wine Country Loop — 120 km
Take the AP-7 south, exit at Vilafranca del Penedès, and explore the quiet back roads of Catalonia's premier wine region. Rolling vineyards, stone farmhouses, and very little traffic — the Ferrari Roma is perfectly suited to this route. You can combine this with a stop at one of the cava producers in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia.
4. The Garrotxa Volcanic Zone — 150 km
For a full day hire, head north on the AP-7 towards Girona, then west into the Garrotxa region. The roads through the ancient volcanic landscape are smooth, well-maintained, and almost deserted mid-week. This route rewards the Ferrari 296 GTS — long straights between towns, technical sections through forest roads, and a landscape that feels nothing like the Costa Brava tourist trail.

Driver Requirements
